Our compost is given the utmost care and attention to ensure you with a product perfect for your garden, plants, and flowers. The horse manure is cured, turned, and processed while monitoring the water and oxygen intake to stabilize the most nutrients as possible within the compost.

We pride ourselves in maintaining a simple, eco-friendly operation. All the water used in the compost process is collected rainwater. We do not put any additives into our compost, and we make sure that each bin of horse manure is fully composted before it is packaged and sold.

Compost Vs. Manure
Manure, when talking about using it in a garden, usually is referring to the fresh excreta of animals along with bedding, straw, or hay. Manure is the fresh stinky stuff which has not had time to separate and balance the high levels of nitrogen and ammonia to make the manure safe for direct application to plants.

Compost is the material created from the stinky manure and is the result of the decomposition or decaying of organic materials. The compost process helps in minimizing pathogens and elimination of weed seeds and odors. Compost also has more stable levels of nutrients and can retain water better than straight manure. After being cured for the proper amount of time, it is safe to use directly around plants.
